The Commissioner (Mr. Toyo Ito, architect) and the Advisor (Mr. Hideaki Katsura, architect/ Mr. Kaoru Suehiro, architect/ Mr. Masashi Sogabe, architect) recommend appropriate and able architects from home and abroad, and select the best architect through competitions or proposal review. |
+ | The designer will continue working on a building design while consulting continuously with everyone concerned. |

+ | The Artpolis Executive Office and the Promotion Committee which consists of the Executive Adviser (Kumamoto University Honorary professor Kiyoharu Horiuchi), academic experts, and authorities on architecture will support the plans. |
